WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 2D/3D/4D/HD IMAGING?

2d: traditional black and white imaging

3d: This has a more orange type hue to the image.

4d: LIVE! We are able to see all of your baby’s movements in real time!

DO I NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

Yes, we are primarily appointment based in order to maximize the time spent with mother and baby. You can set up your appointment through:

WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENTS DO YOU TAKE?

We take all major credit cards and cash. All payments are due at the time of your appointment. 

*Any cancellations within 24 hours, without proper notice, will be charged a $50 no-show fee.

 

 

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN JOIN ME IN THE ROOM?

As many as you'd like! Children are always encouraged as well! YES! Even during Covid! We also offer FREE Facetiming to anyone unable to join you during your ultrasound session

 

 

ARE CHILDREN WELCOME IN THE ROOM WITH ME?

Yes, children are more than welcome! We encourage all family to attend your 2d/3D HD ultrasound to start that bonding experience together.

 

 

HOW EARLY SHOULD I SHOW UP PRIOR TO MY APPOINTMENT?

Please show up 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment with your entire party. If you are more than 15 minutes late we may kindly ask you to reschedule --- Please have your entire party ready 5 minutes prior to your appointment time.

WHAT IF WE CAN'T SEE THE GENDER AT THE TIME OF MY SCAN?

In the occurrence of us not being able to find the gender of the baby during your gender scan, we offer you to return to us for a free rescan.

DOES THIS ULTRASOUND TAKE PLACE OF MY SCAN AT THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE?

No, please keep in mind that this is an elective non-diagnostic ultrasound. This does not take place of your routine ultrasound scheduled through your doctor's office. We require that you are under the current care of an Ob/Gyn. It is also highly recommended that a diagnostic ultrasound has been completed prior to any elective ultrasound to confirm due dates and pregnancy status. We do offer diagnostic (doctor ordered) ultrasounds as well at our studio! Visit the Diagnostic FAQ page for more details.

 

 

WHEN CAN YOU DETERMINE THE SEX OF MY BABY?

Due to baby’s parts taking time to develop, gender is most accurately determined at week 15 in your pregnancy. If we cannot see gender during your gender session, we do allow you to come back for a free rescan.  We also can put the gender in an envelope for you, if requested.

 

 

WHEN IS A GOOD TIME TO SEE MY BABY IN 3D OR HD?

We offer 3d/HD imaging anytime after 8 weeks! Seeing baby move with their arms, hands, legs and precious little feet, as well as flipping or turning around, seeing their bones developed and possibly smile and wave is all done at 15 weeks or later. We offer a variety of 3d or HD packages for 15-39 weeks along. Developed facial features are recommended 27-32 (up to 34) weeks. This is when they are chunkier and we can see if the baby has hair, see them smile, yawn, wink, wave, and even open their eyes! Between 15-26 weeks is when we see a lot of moms come in to confirm gender and also get to see their baby a second time in greater detail than at their 20 week Anatomy scan. We take the time to only show you your beautiful baby in detail during your entire session!

IS GETTING AN ELECTIVE ULTRASOUND SAFE?

Our machine is FDA approved and offers the latest in ultrasound scanning technology for both 2D/3D/HD imaging as well as diagnostically to provide you and your family the most memorable experience available. 3d/HD ultrasounds produce the same amount of ultrasonic waves and power-intensity as traditional 2D imaging.  As experienced sonographers who are licensed/registered/actively scanning in the diagnostic field, we ALWAYS keep you and your baby our top priority. If we were to question an abnormality, we take the necessary steps to ensure the best well-being of you and your baby possible. We also have a doctor available during all business hours if needed.
